Hi Chuck1935. Yes I have had a contact on 13, a long time ago. I am just now putting the cb into the coach and have not been out with much. I think I have been out 3 times since I put the cb in the C. Its not mounted yet, I lay it up on the dash, until I decide where I want to mount it. I will be monitoring 13 from here on out when ever I am in the coach. I like to play radio, course that is why I am a amateur radio operator.
Catch you on the road someday maybe.
Life is a trip, ENJOY the ride.
Safe Travels.

XM4617668 from Ontario way back in the day
My handle was CC from my nickname from Childhood.
In my Sault Ste Marie west end neighbourhood everyone had a nickname and none made any sense.

Hi edieelk, love the name. To funny. Yep our coworkers sure could come up with some dandies for names.
Cuba, MO isn't to far from Crystal City,MO, maybe 60/70 miles cross country. Crystal City is along the river about 35/40 miles south of STL off I-55. Where is Weslaco TX? I am not going away this winter. But I plan on going every winter after tho. Right now I have some buddies that are trying to talk me into going down to Bushnell FL, where they go. I am open to anything. Just need to check locations out.
Take care. Have a great winter in TX.

Safe Travels.

My Handle is "HOG NEST" we haul our Harley, our Chopper, and our Customized Golf Cart named "Piglet"
The reason I chose to use this as my handle is our plates are "HogNest"
It just seemed right.
And to answer an earlier post.....I have been contacted twice now on Channel 13 due to my "CB 13" on the back. Once by a trucker just looking to see what was us running down the road and once by another motorcoach asking me where we were headed and where did I get the "CB 13" decal! That happened this summer.
Many of us are using the CB's but what most people don't know is that channel 13 awhile back was for RV'rs cruising the country......just trying to bring it back for some added fun and security on the road.
Just trying to enhance the RV'ing experience for me and some others.
My wife usually is relaxing somewhere else in the coach when we are rolling down the road so I tend to get a little board. The truckers are alot of fun on 19 but, it would be fun to talk to RV'rs sharing the same road as me!

Just my thoughts,
Craig

I received your check today but I don't see which color decal you would like? I have them all so it will ship in the morning if you respond before then.
Thanks,
Craig

Thumbs up One more time!

Hi Craig.

Would you be kind enough to post how we get in touch with you to purchase the CB stickers? Are you still shipping to Canada? How much are they in Canadian dollars.

Thanks
George

I haven't turned the CB on for probably 10 years now. Just can't stand the language there.

finally

Hi guy's
First off Craig n Deb thanks for doing this for all of us. I got my sticker last year but have not had it stuck to anything as of yet (lol)
I finally got the new CB installed but still no answer from trying a Radio check I have even tried ch 19 with no response. I am only 3/4 of a mile from a major hwy.
Anyhoo, I finally found a nice pcs of Cedar to install this sticker and a couple others on. I will place them on the Cedar and then a couple sprays of a clean sealer.
I plan on hanging from my rear window with suction cups. I am hoping that I will get a response soon or when we head SW for the winter if I can get the MH out of the snow bank...
I will share a picture when hung.
Thanks again
Tim

Tim,

My neighbour and I were trying to do an SWR test on his radio and antennae and we played on 13 doing so. A couple of units headed west to Tofino and Ucluelet here on the Island chatted with us for about 10 minutes as they passed through Port Alberni. So some are catching on to the RV-CB channel.
