Hi Craig. So we finally meet up on IRV2. I am so thankful that you turned me on to this forum a couple of years ago. Can't believe it took this long to cross paths. I guess I should be CBing instead. Ha ha.

Possum, did you ever get the magic smoke back into the box? Maybe just a new magic box woodwork! Hope all worked out well! See you down the road. Dusty

Wow. Whole lotta commotion over a sticker. I'm in. Think it's cool idea. Cb's still used everywhere. I owned big trucks been all 49 states , cb saved my rear end quite a few times. Don't miss ch19 thow. I'll wave and listen for ya on 13. They make a darn good antenna for fiberglass ( groundless ). Reach out 15-20 miles if your in fairly flat terrain

Just noticed this thread, and "had to" jump in. As I can see, there is virtually no "unique" individuals out there, despite all of us thinking that we are. Very, very similar people out in the "cyberspace". Speaking of which.......

I was born in 1955 (it was a good year, and Dom Perignon 55 is also highly regarded among connoisseurs). Now,....1955 tuna fish (in the can or otherwise), is not liked much by the connoisseurs,....but I digress.

CB was THE RAGE of my youth, along with back window gun racks, and .....well,..... FREEDOM. I used to sit in my pickup truck at night, and chat on CB (didn't have a base) into the night.

Then came cell phones, computers, political correctness, and social media.

And I HATE it all!

Maybe it's nostalgia, maybe it's a futile attempt of "stopping time", but I use my "smart phone" like I used my rotary back then (I make/receive phone calls, and don't stare at it all day!). I can go for days without it, and when I find it, I return missed calls. I don't "do" twitty birds, facepads, ipads, selfies......and I drive 1995 coach. With CB. Absolutely.

I listen mostly (19), don't have any kids with me (except furry ones), and after 20+ years in the uniform,.......I can pretty much outcuss anyone. I speak several languages, and lived all over the world for over 30 years (parents were also uniformed). I can cuss in MANY languages (this seems to be the first thing my generation learned, when they learned foreign language).

The point is,.......CB will be with me in the coach (came factory installed in mine) forever. Just like on this forum, ..........some people on the radio are nice and helpful, and some are rude. I talk to the nice ones, and tune out the rude ones.

I would love to have the sticker for my Land Yacht.

I of course have my CB on all the time and I like listening to the craziness! I always bounce between 13 and 19!

I still have the "CB13" decals available for anyone who wants to run down the road with their radio on! lol

Let me know.........

I probably missed the pics. Are they anywhere on the forum? I'd like to see the decals, and their dimensions. Are they glue on, cling on, or what. You put them inside on the glass/windshield, or on the body?

Please elaborate, or direct me to the thread where I can find that info.

Thanks.
