Thanks.

Craig

I was born in 1955 (it was a good year, and Dom Perignon 55 is also highly regarded among connoisseurs). Now,....1955 tuna fish (in the can or otherwise), is not liked much by the connoisseurs,....but I digress.

CB was THE RAGE of my youth, along with back window gun racks, and .....well,..... FREEDOM. I used to sit in my pickup truck at night, and chat on CB (didn't have a base) into the night.

Then came cell phones, computers, political correctness, and social media.

And I HATE it all!

Maybe it's nostalgia, maybe it's a futile attempt of "stopping time", but I use my "smart phone" like I used my rotary back then (I make/receive phone calls, and don't stare at it all day!). I can go for days without it, and when I find it, I return missed calls. I don't "do" twitty birds, facepads, ipads, selfies......and I drive 1995 coach. With CB. Absolutely.

I listen mostly (19), don't have any kids with me (except furry ones), and after 20+ years in the uniform,.......I can pretty much outcuss anyone. I speak several languages, and lived all over the world for over 30 years (parents were also uniformed). I can cuss in MANY languages (this seems to be the first thing my generation learned, when they learned foreign language).

The point is,.......CB will be with me in the coach (came factory installed in mine) forever. Just like on this forum, ..........some people on the radio are nice and helpful, and some are rude. I talk to the nice ones, and tune out the rude ones.

I would love to have the sticker for my Land Yacht.

10 - roger there 'Danielsand' ! Our stories are similar. In fact I often think that unless there is just a little hiss and some 'skip' in the background, it just isn't radio!

Hear you on the road some day! And thank you for your service.

When I travel I always have my CB on, listen only to 19 for the info I can get from the truckers, the language has cleaned up but getting close to larger cities it can get a tad bit salty but not bad.

The information is out there, all you have to do is let it in.

"CB13" Decals for all RV's SURVEY

All good information. What I do is monitor CB 19, When RVer comes on this channel, we go to CB13. Example: Beaver, you copy, Beaver: yes, wind at my back hear, ME: go to CB 13. Easy...

The information you need is in the post before yours. I have one of those stickers on the back of my redneck land yacht. Have had a few good conversations and met a few nice people. It's a great idea!.... Dusty

Okay I'm a little curious? For whatever reason this place seems to have stalled. I will say that I drove all the way down to North Carolina and please there's not one question or comment on my little sticker. I don't see too many of the little sticker is out there yet. But I sure hope this catches on. Wish all great here keep safe and travel smart.

$19.95 for the decal is extremely steep. I say this with experience because I make commercial decals for a living.
