Ken, your, "personal administrative assistant," does she know you called her that or have you called her that to her face? I have heard you call her other things usually, "honey, or some other term of endearment," but, never that one.

^ My wife likes to be called, "CFO." That's Chief Financial Officer.

Other examples of not paying attention: Driving while eating a bowl of cereal. I've seen it. Driving while doing the newspaper crossword puzzle. Both times they were passing me. Thankfully I was only doing about 78 MPH.

Every state EVERY STATE has a law about "Obstructed" driving.

Driving with a cell phone held to your ear is obstructed driving.

(Obstructed vision or control) it lessens your control of the vehicle to have one hand NOT on the wheel.

Does this answer your question?

As others have said, Go handsfree. Many studies suggest it is not better than hand held, but at least it is legal in most states and you still have both hands on the wheel.

PA calls it "distracted", but same same.
But they do not enforce it.... when asked by a couple of cops (acquaintances) what I meant I stated, "you see distracted driving in the car pool lane all the time........ whether strapped in the passenger seat or their car seats in the back. "
