CG pix required for reservation: MH +10 yrs

Went to reserve a site for during the "snow bird" season. The campground required we send a picture of the motorhome to prove it was in "like new" shape because it was more than 10 years old. Anyone have this happen?

I think its to keep the old wrecks out of the parks, especially for the long term. More common in high-end parks, but with the numbers of people losing their homes and moving into RVs, maybe it will be more often in the average RV parks as well

Sounds reasonable to me, at least as an alternative to a flat "no" to RVs over 10 years old. Only a relative few parks seem to have the 10-year rule, so those that don't qualify and/or feel insulted can certainly avoid those.

Agreed. Better than just a "no".

Reminds me of a time a few years ago when I knew of a gentleman my niece might like to meet. When I mentioned to each of them about the other he wanted to see a photo of her, she wanted to see a photo of his car!

I see the reasoning behind the request.....When DW and I are heading out for our 3 week annual holiday we check RVparkreviews which has helped filter out parks with too many permanent residents or RV wrecks. Its not the experience I'm looking for. So do I think its reasonable to request a photo if your rig is older.....sure.

Ask them to send you a picture of the campground to see if it is up to YOUR standards.
