I replaced my Dometic analog thermostat with a very similar Honeywell thermostat (mine is a 5000 series), shortly after I bought my current coach in 2016. In my case I did modify it adding a hi/low fan toggle switch on the side, this just required drilling a small hole in the side of the thermostat and removing a few plastic rib in the case.

X2 for the high-low fan switch. I did this when replacing my old thermostat with a digital Hunter residential T-stat. IIRC around $20 at Lowes.

Those of you that have replaced the t-stat.

How is it that you accommodate a heat pump that has electric and gas heating? My forward t-stat is on the fritz and I’d rather replace with one that is more accurate and programmable than the digital Coleman that is in there now.

Call Makarios RV Give them the model number of your thermostat (it's on the back, you will have to remove the base plate).
I ordered one from them to replace my Coleman analog one. The digital replacement is accurate to about 1 degree. The analog was 4-6 degrees.
These should have been installed by the manufacturer!

The one I bought was direct replacement. Mounting holes were the same and the wiring is the same.
