We'very had someone try to charge over $45,000 to AM business card twice at WalMart.com electronics. They used an old card number that was supposed to be closed. The only reason it was stopped by AM was that it was over our card limit. Glad that whole card is now closed.

Charge Card

We have credit cards that we earn points which we turn into cash and use then as much as possible and we always pay off our cards monthly. The prepaid card I use for small purchases at restaurants where they take the card away and run it. Canada does a much better job with chip and pin cards and they bring a device to the table for you to make the payment including adding the tip. We prefer to use our credit cards instead of our debit card because of all the cash we earn from using them.

Wes monitor our accounts daily so that is not an issue but why give criminals free rein. This is not victimless crime even though we are not responsible for the bogus charges. We all pay for it and it is rarely prosecuted.

I also have "Apple Pay" and Android Phones have something similar. It does not transmit CC numbers but a "token" generated number. The retailer never sees the details of the card. More and more stores are getting wireless transactions. The card "chip" is another good way.
