Charging house batteries with 110v

Just picked up our new to us 2011 Monaco Knight 40PBQ. This is our first motor home and my question is, when it is not in use can I keep it hooked up to a 120v outlet for the house batteries to stay charged?

I've done that with every rig I've owned, but you have to be sure your charger is a three stage unit, otherwise you can boil your batteries and ruin them in a short time.

Gut feel says the coach batteries should charge (not necessarily the chassis batteries) when connected to shore power. However, I do not know Monaco. Consider posting this in the Monaco Owner's forum. On the iRV2 main page scroll down about 1/2 way and you'll see the Owners Forums. I suggest this because nobody knows your coach like somebody who owns one just like yours.
