I've seen something close to that once. A 5th wheel Scamp being pulled by a Honda Ridgeline. Really neat setup.

Owner told me he had to have the hitch custom built. Said he would average around 23 mpg towing, but didn't drive over 55.

We have an Odyssey with the same engine as the Ridgeline and I get 26-27 on the highway and I'm not towing anything so I doubt that mileage figure!

We would stand and talk while outside doing things, one day he was teasing me about the mileage my DP gets.

I reminded him it would get the same mileage with his truck and trailer setting on my roof. And I would still have CCC left over.



It was a neat little setup, though.
