Officially, this is a class C since the "Cab" is not part of the house structure. Sometimes called a Super C, or a Toterhome (in this case, home built). A story circulated a while back about someone who bought a very high end Toterhome and brought it to his equally upscale private ownership RV resort, only to be evicted because the park rules stated class A only.

The main reason I avoid many RV " Resorts ",RV Parks and the people in them are fine with me.

A few years back pulled into a high end RV resort in Las Vegas. Parked behind a new high end class C, the kind with a Freightliner truck front end . The driver was at the registration desk when I walked in. He was being told by the young lady that they did not allow class C units in the park. She refused to come out and look at his RV and he left. I was in a 90 Ford Coachman B class conversion at the time. She had no information on B Class units on her instructions so I was let in, needless to say got some funny looks from the security guys but I had my site assignment and enjoyed my 2night stay.

The first one of that type I saw was not that large a travel trailer unit, but was on mounted on 6 wheel drive cab over unit and IIRC was used by someone in the logging industry.
