Classifieds
Is it just me our do you just hate it when someone puts a add in the classifieds and wont post a price.
Just saying it bugs me to not have a starting point or a wasted phone call.

X2!
I simply ignore any ad without a posted price... (I assume that most people do the same).

If they don't have the price in the ad they are probably asking too much.

If there is no price they are probably asking far more then it's worth. I move on.

Whenever I went home shopping (house buying), I knew what I could afford. Real estate booklets without prices went in the circular file. You could not tell the price of a home by looking at its picture. Way too many variables. (Like buying a 600 sq. ft. apartment in downtown Paris vs. a 1,200 sq. foot starter home in rural Iowa).
Same with toads, RV's, etc.
I have never understood the logic for unpriced advertisements of any kind. If it's obviously expensive, target your intended audience and thus limit your annoying, useless inquiries.
Real estate agents do it to gather up the buyer leads. "I talked to that buyer first" type of argument when the prospect asks how much it is over the phone. "and what is your name please", etc. , etc

Yeah, I don't like the ads without some kind of price. You can always start out high and add "OBO". I'll respond to those kind, but I don't usually respond if there is no price at all.
MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!
