Not sure how similar what you have is to what Newmar uses.
But vacuuming then spraying a hydrogen peroxide solution, on has worked on a badly water stained Newmar headliner. Do not scrub, let dry then re-apply if necessary , and cover anything that you don't want white.
Test in a corner or cabinet first.

I've had good results using this carpet cleaner. Blot on with sponge and blot off with towel. If you rub too much the material will pill.

I had carpeted headliner in previous coach. Used a oxy type spray cleaner. Took a few applications in the worst areas, but did a pretty good job.

DW says the bottle was 10% solution in the bottle , there are lower % available 3%, but that won't do the job. Straight up not diluted.

16floz, from Pharmacy anywhere, it's the medical strength .

A 50/50 mix of water and bleach in a spray bottle will remove almost any water stain. Have used it to remove almost black water stains. (Bought used, then reroofed)
Spray on and let dry. Repeat on hard stains.
I hold an old towel up under where I am spraying to control overspray.
Lots of open windows and fans helps with the smell.

I used our bissell carpet cleaner upholstery tool to clean the carpet on the ceiling of our Winnebago. I put warm water in it. Worked great. Used cleaner with scotch guard.

Ditto on the Bissel machine with hot water. I put on the small upholstery attachment, used the hottest water my sink would deliver and applied the water with the sprayer on the upholstery cleaning tool being careful not to get the cabinets wet, then extracting it. The ceiling in our older Itasca Suncruiser was the fuzzy grey material which had some food stains on the ceiling in the kitchen from the previous owner, they came right out. I went ahead and did the whole ceiling and I tell you what...the water that was extracted was as dirty as could be. I was not aware that the ceiling was that dirty but I guess it was.

Trades people and repair men consider anything that is out of the norm for them to be voodoo. Cleaning the headliner will dissolve the glue! Really??? He just didn't want to have to hold the vacuum over his head.

Sorry to disagree with previous poster but a Stanley Steamer machine will damage the ceiling. It sure did a job on an old carpet ceiling we had. At first it looked great as he was working but then I notice says starting to happen and stopped him. It put out so much steam then the big suction to remove water loosened the carpet until it was obvious. I wouldn't do that again in a million years! I had to have the ceiling redone and it wasn't cheap.

I was wondering if anyone has tried something like the spray on carpet cleaner that you spray the foam cleaner on, then let it dry and vacuum off. I think glory was a brand back in the 70's or 80's.
