Cleaning toilet or grey water clog

Just a note. We had a bad black water clog VB so I tried a hack that has worked on the sink. Pour about a half gallon of white vinegar,a pint of hydrogen peroxide open the toilet and let it into the tank. It will k bubble up poo and goo then add just a about a half cup baking soda. Stand back it will bubble. We had an open toilet in about 2 minutes. Using less also works on sink clogs

That would have been a good YouTube video a toilet foaming at the mouth. You might try eating fiber to prevent from happening again.

That's a potentially dangerous mix if you get it fairly strong, so "stand back" is good advice. That foaming action is a strong chemical reaction. I'm not saying "don't ever do it", but mixing an acid (the vinegar) and a base (peroxide) should always be approached very cautiously.

I use it in jewelry making. It's called super pickle. I saw it used for plumbing as a hack. To the liquid plumber. You keep the ratio at w to one vinegar to peroxide. You can leave the peroxide out an just use the vinegar and Soda but that really foams.

Both are weak acids and bases so there is no way to make them stronger. At best they balance each other out and move towards a pH of 7ish, which is neutral. In this proportion 2:1 it will still be acidic but weaker than the acidity of the original vinegar. Approach everything carefully is always very good advice.
