I have 10 pet brown bats that love to eat mosquitos. Belinda is having babies soon if you want some. If not, the yellow lenses work pretty good.

Other than that, mosquito repellant I guess.

What a coincidence! I got mine from my MIL, God rest her soul

Didn't mean to mess up your thread, I just can't think of a thing to repell the little varmits except whats available on the market.

I did just replace all my lights with LEDs. Since my yellow was a bit melted, I bought a clear lense for some reason. No skeeto problems here in Fl right now, but the clear is attracting more bugs!

Use Avon 'Skin So Soft'...skeeters hate the stuff and I can see why. Since I quite smoking 15 years ago, I can't stand the smell either. Citronella candles work pretty well but I can't stand that either, so I'm a frequent feeder.

Your white lights will attract bugs but mosquitoes are attracted to CO2 from their pray and really don't care what color your lights are. I've read that they are attracted more to dark clothing than light. Bob

I think Scenic Bob nailed it. I boondock in "mosquito central" all summer (muskeg areas of western Canada) and usually it's just moths around the lights. The skeeters are attracted to CO2...this is why those acreage mosquito traps that run on propane work so well. Leave your truck idling one day and watch the skeeters and horseflys gather near the tailpipe area...
