The Cleveland Clinic is too expensive to stay at but my very best wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery for your wife's recovery

Great!!! Glad your wife is doing well. I know how anxious you must be as my DW just spent a week in the hospital with serious infection and blood clots. She is doing ok but it will take months. IMHO $60.00 per night being close to your DW with security is saving you lots of bucks. Add the travel time, parking and couple that with anxiety your way ahead. Wish you both the best!

Was the price $60 or "free"?. Yes, the area just a block or two north of there is a place I would not even walk thru, but the grounds around the Clinic are patrolled very nice. I love the waiting rooms there. Did you ever find a dump station in that parking lot?

Yes, to stay at the Clinic Hotel is very $$$ as are most on-site hospital hotels. But maybe 10 minutes away there are much cheaper chain hotels in the under $100 category. Over-all Cleveland is a very affordable area to work. You can buy a lot of house for the money.

Thanks everyone. Yes, it is free at this time, because the electric hookup is funky. They tore down the Guest House next door which is where the electric feed came off of, and then wired it into another circuit with the parking lot lights. The result is that at night there is severe voltage/amp drop and you cannot run the a/c or microwave. During the day it's fine. Fortunately I have a Progressive surge and low voltage box that protects the coach. If it's really sticky out, I run the generator. Hopefully they will fix it eventually.
We are here another week as there were some complications from her surgery and they need to re-operate. Not too happy about that, just want to get this done and go home.
As far as safety is concerned, the campus is very well patrolled. Go a few blocks west though and it's a bit scary. I have not had any problem whatsoever. The LEOs come through several times a day and eyeball the rig.
There is a sewer dump in the lot, but no rinse station. Strange.
