My wife turned the hangers backwards so the openings are facing you (out). Seems like it works!

Stuff a pool noodle between the hangers and the ceiling.

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.

Ditto on pool noodles trimmed to fill in the gaps.

If you've cut a slot in the noodle, it may also be used to prevent banging your head on a slide-out that evening.

Stand a pillow up between the clothes and the closet door.

You have too much room so that they swing under movement. Heavier hangers might help. We found some white-coated heavy ones which are great.

Place an eye bolt at each end of the clothes rod in the wall, slightly below the rod and under it. Attach a bungle cord across the the clothes using the eye bolts.

Simple and cheap.

we take the hanging clothes off the rack and lay them on the bed when travelling. then just hang them back up when we get set up. takes a minute. less time than trying to get them all picked up off the floor.
