Clothes sliding in closet

After complaints from dw about clothes sliding to one end of the closet rod, I went to Lowes Home Improvement store to see what they had. I bought 6 feet of pool and spa vacuum hose. Fits perfectly over the 1 1/4" rod and has ridges that prevent hangers from sliding. Try it. You'll like it!

An option, is the glue on weather stripping. Comes in several thicknesses EZ to install cut to length peel backing and apply to top of rod.

Tell her to buy more clothes!

Good tip on the hose. I know I've got several extra vacuum cleaner hose pieces somewhere I could use the same way.

That's what my wife did, 3/4 of the closet has all her cloths in it. Nothing slides while traveling but the down side is it harder then heck to get anything out when you need it.

You can buy Rv hangers that stay on the rod during travel. Camping World sell them but You will probably find them cheaper on Ebay or Amazon. They are about $6/dozen

Our MH closet came with the corrugated hose/hanger rod. Great thing until DW is hunting a specific item and hangers will not move_; she's not tall enough to raise hangers enough to move them sideways. That's when she goes to the bench_.
