Question Coachmen Factory Sales?

Can anyone tell me if Coachmen sells directly from their Indiana factory?

If they do, about how much less would the price be?

I am looking at the Freelander QB21 with a Chevy engine, so any comments on it are welcome also.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Factories will not compete with a dealer. If you contact the factory they will probably refer you to a dealer near you.

Think about it. Why would the factory under cut a dealer? If they did that, everyone would be going to the factory and the dealer network would dry up.

I don't believe they do. However, give them a call just to make sure: (800) 353-7383

I remember seeing a new Freelander owner that has posted on the Forest Rivers Forum site (under 'Coachment Motohomes'). Maybe try there (or a PM to him/her) for some feedback on that specific model:Forest River Forums - Forest River Owners Community

My guess would be that you could order it through a dealer and maybe pick it up at the factory. But like others said they need the dealer body to support there service, so they won't cut the price.
