I think location would influence my decision more than money. A CG right off the highway would easily lure me for $20. Electric only is fine, and of course, pull thru only.
A campground several miles off the path even at $5 or free would not be anything I'd be interested in.

Might work, When wife was alive I figured an overnight in a Flying J with dinner and breakfast was 30-40 bucks, at that time a campground was2 20-30.

Wal*mart I tend to shop where I park but I'm buying stuff I need anyway so the "Bite" is not so bad.. but Wal*mart for the most part if I park there I will not even be in the same State tomorrow night.
Home is where I park it!

They don't have it open yet but have the land cleared. Cost us $28 for their regular pull FHU through sites that was plenty wide and long.,

X2 I agree. That would be a good stop for us when leaving with a late morning start from home. Thanks for posting that.

What Walmart crowd?

I came across the supposedly current below list recently of those stores in Florida that prohibit RV overnighting...I didn't think there were any left down there that do!

I think Motels are missing out. When I first began RVing, I would stay at Motels that allowed usually 4 to 6 rv's for $5 some were even free with the concept that when you are not RVing you would stay at their Motel. Many have places for Truckers so why not have several for RV's and a small fee. Desk is open all night anyway.

The New Smyrna Beach Super Center which is W of I 95, has parking on the South side of the parking lot, you can also go into town and park at the old Walmart, 1 mi E of I 95, west of Publix, S side of 44. Big ety parking lot. I'd use the I 75 CG but never go that far W, usually end up around Daytona.
