It depends on what you plan on using it for. I use my 400p for topping off the tires and really don’t plan on running it for extended periods. It also puts out more cfm than the 450. For my situation I couldn’t justify the extra expense.

Burned up three of the 120 volt units over the years. Now have a Viair 450 12 volt that is rated for a 100% duty cycle. Slow on my huge tires but it does the job.

Porter Cable pancake with maximum of 150psi. Can get the motorhomes tires up to the 110+. Can regulate it down to just a few psi to blow out air lines to winterize. 50' hose and good clip on tire filler with gauge and some accessories.
