Connecting Weber Bbq

Hi everyone, very new to this community and hoping for some guidance. Id like to be able to hook up my Weber baby q portable propane grill to my on board propane tank (we have a tiffin a class open road). Can anyone Tell me the right hose to buy for this? The Weber does have a regulator on it. I have the hose that connects it to a portable refillable tank but I dont think that is the right connection for the rv propane tank. I would be grateful for guidance.

Many Thanks

Eddie

Hi Eddie. Perhaps this article will help you find what you need. A propane retailer should also be able to assist you on the parts needed.

In the specs online it's not clear if the BBQ is originally designed to run off the 1 lb bottles . If it is designed to use 1 lb bottles ant the hose you have to hook to a 5 gal has no inline regulator . Tapping into your RV's regulated system won't work , you have to run directly to the tank and " T " in before the RV's regulator, then run the correct pressure rated hose all the way to the BBQ.

EDIT: I see that the link posted in post two covers the issue , it was posted while I was typing , sorry for the duplication.

Eddie-

Here are some options.

Brass Tee w/4 Ports, 5' and 12' Hoses - Camco
Sturgi-Stay Kit Deluxe
Marshall Stay-Longer-Plus Propane Adapter Kit

All of these come with an "input" hose for adding an outboard source of propane (e.g., 20-pound cylinder), and an "output" hose for a propane grill or other device with its own regulator.

You can buy at retail RV stores or online.

I bought and installed the Camco, but any would do.

There are videos and articles online on how to install the units. Here is a link to one. You may need a new output hose and/or support for the regulator.
