Considering buying 2000 Beaver Patriot Concord

Hi. We are considering buying our first RV motorhome we are looking at a 2000 Beaver Patriot Concord coach with 95000 miles, what should we be looking for? We are in Florida
Here are some specs 33” long, 330 Caterpillar3126B Turbo Charged Diesel Pusher, Allison MD-3000 Six Speed Transmission with Magnum Eight Air Bags Chassis, Onan Generator, Hydraulic Leveling System, 2000-Watt Inverter and Hurricane Heater.
Our 2nd choice would be 1997 Beaver Patriot 37”.
We have noticed they are priced well above NADA average retail price listing, is this normal? NADA Low Retail $26,500 Average Retail is $31,950.
How much above average retail do you pay for 2000 Beaver Patriot in excellent condition /garage kept? Any thoughts or comments are apricated. Thank you for your help.

I'm not familiar with that coach. NADA prices are usually a lot lower than the actual market value.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Good luck finding a nice Beaver for NADA prices. That being said make sure it is a Nice Beaver. Condition is everything. I have a 1998 Beaver Patriot Savannah, almost an exact model to the one you are considering except mine does not have a slide. The slide you are looking at only goes out 16 - 18 inches, but that is extra room. The 33 foot coach is actually about 34'4" bumper to bumper. The interior is well above most coaches and the 8 air bag magnum frame is a great frame, but you may want to look at any rubber items with that age on them. This includes airbags, tires, hoses and belts. It has a good power to weight ratio, and is very comfortable for 2 people, or sleeps 4 on occasion. It is also small enough to get most places and gets good fuel mileage.

As a follow up to your question, You may well have to pay double NADA prices. I have seen them listed for over twice as much and those coaches sold fairly quickly. I can not say for sure that they got full asking price, but at 2 times NADA nice, and especially shorter Beavers have sold fast.
