Can anyone tell me if they have converted a park model trailer so that you can hook up a black water tank to it for a campground that does not offer sewers. I think that I can seperate the plumbing so that grey water can be seperate from black but an not sure of the parts needed to make them sealed units so that the local poop sucker guy can empty them out for me. Any advice would be great. 2006 gulfstream cavalier (FEMA UNIT)

Whatever tank you get, it would have to have a connection and valve similar to this.

Camco Dual Flush PRO #39062

This valve will allow the Honey Wagon to attach a hose to the outlet and then open the valve to drain your tank. The problem you face is how your going to attach this valve to your tank and that will depend on the type of tank you get.

I pick mine up on friday. I will take a look and let you know. Did you convert yours to holding tanks or are you hooked up to direct sewer?

I am leaving mine direct. Also found that when you hook water up to it there is two hoses under the sink that go outside, i had to plug them off, wonder why they needed water outside? Also the switch under the sink is for the hot water heater. Hope you will be as plesed as we are with ours, what a deal on these right now !! I know holding tanks are directly under the toilet and have straps that help hold them in place. Only think with the house type toilet are it will fill a tank up fast . . .
