Had a C5, now I have a bus. As much as I enjoyed the C5, I think overall I like the bus more.

If I can do it, so can you. My Class A just made my C5 seem that much quicker!

Years ago my father was on Long Island NY and him and a coworker had to head towards the city for a couple of months. He had the mini-wini that was had the Renault diesel 4 cylinder engine, so he drove it as a daily driver. They had been comparing a vett vs a MH... it started out the discussion at work one morning went something like with my father asking his coworker how fast he could drive in rush hour traffic. Then ended one day after they got to work after sitting a half an hour stuck in traffic within seeing distance of each other, "...and then Cooke went back and got a soda and a sandwich and ate it while I was sitting there..." Of course my father had no lunch that day as he had eaten it at 7 am.

What year vett?

Have you considered the camper option?

Got rid of my 56 Vette in 62. I have lived to regret that decision. Used to love those Nevada roads without speed limits.

That's really funny...however, given the history of Vettes, of all the models over the years that this would be the best use of the vehicle, this would be the best use of the 70 series. A true Vette lover!

I have a friend who is selling his vette and buying a motor home, he says he just doesn't drive it enough and as he gets older it is not as easy to get in and out of I know what he says is true, I had a 911 porsche and I know that would not be as easy to get in and out of as when I had it in my late thirtys and early fortys. Still a man has to have his toys.

The 'vette will get you there quicker but you will enjoy the journey much more in the Aspire. Best of both worlds is to make the 'vette into a toad for the Aspire!!

Happy camping.
Well not really

If the objective is the drive - the my Corvette is Hands Down the more enjoyable.

If the destination is the objective My Medirian is the most enjoyable.

My rule if i need to be somewhere I fly or, for a day or less trip, I drive the Corvette. If the trip is to get someplace for FUN then I take the MH.

Don't mean to butt in guys, and have to admit that I've never been bitten by the Vette bug. BUT, I do know beauty when I see it. We're in the middle of an 8000 mile loop and have been spending a few days in Kennebunkport, Maine.

Today we found this great little local hang out with good live rock music, huge baskets of fried scallops, and cold beer so we settled in.

This baby was parked right in front and it made me think of this thread so I thought I'd share. It doesn't show up in the pic but it is a 427.

Is it a 63?

Rick
