Couch?!
Ok I have a 2004 Prowler. The fold down couch is beyond uncomfortable. I need to replace it. What have any of you used? Or suggest?

Foam mattress / camping pad? We have jackknife couch and this is what we use on the occasion we have a guest along with us. I think it's a full size bought from Costco. Storage is a bit of a problem. It stays in the garage until a trip with guest sleeper comes along.

Well we live in the camper. We tried a foam on it but didn't really last. Couch is so uncomfortable to even sit on. Tried pillows etc.

Replace the couch with a Lazy Boy recliner. They recline almost flat and you can easily sleep in it.

For cheaper, how about a couple padded outdoor reclining chairs? They fold up for travel and we can easily take a nap in them. 
Also, you could scout out some estate or garage sales and look for regular recliners.
Is the couch your primary bed or do you have a regular bed and just use the couch for sitting?

We replaced our sleep sofa and recliner with a flexsteel. Electric leather reclining sofa it reclines almost flat and is soo comfortable will try to load a picture

here is a picture of the sofa, ordered at local furniture store, back is removable for easy entrance thru door

It isn't my bed but when my mom comes for a few weeks etc. But the couch is just uncomfortable for even sitting. Just trying to come up with a good solution that wont break the bank!

What about a futon couch? Discount stores sometimes handle them. They're a LOT cheaper than a regular couch or chairs....I've seen some for around $100 or so.

Which model is this? What are the dimensions and how far must it sit from the wall?
Never mind. I am trying to find something to replace a jack knife sofa. Looks like you have more room. Wish there were a way to delete a post.
