Thank you for the Heads Up. I ordered mine today. I don't have AAA, so local store pickup (which includes state tax) was $85. A good deal.

I fill my son-in-law's portable air tank to 125psi, no sweat.

I just picked one up too! Thanks for the heads up!
My AAA membership worked for the discount without even prompting for the number. I googled for a URL that would apply it.

Works fine for small cleanup jobs and bicycle tires.

If your pancake compressor is like mine it has a regulator on it. It will also have two pressure gages. One for the tank pressure and one (regulated) gage so you can turn down the pressure for spraying, pneumatic nailer's, etc. Make sure the regulator, which should be in the middle of the two gages is turned up so that your getting 125# of pressure at the air chuck.
The regulator I'm speaking about is in between and below the gages in this picture of the pancake compressor. The black knob to the left of where the air hose connects.
Hope this helps.

Chickadee......I reported on this compressor a few years ago. It's a GREAT compressor. On my coach, I run 110 psi, it will add one pound of air every 13 seconds.
Many people just say to use their onboard storage tanks on DP's to fill their tires. The only problem with that is you usually have to start the coach to air the tanks. This compressor allows you to fill/check your tires, while camping, at your leisure. You don't have to do it the morning you leave, once your coach is aired up.
I had an old car cover bag that works perfect for storing the compressor. A pillow case also works well.

Same here, same owner's manual, but it can't hurt I suppose. I've used mine a couple of times but I'm going to do the "break-in" now.

Thanks for the thread, as usual I should have read this BEFORE I went and bought my compressor. Got a smaller Campbell Hausfeld that claimed it would do 110 psi and could only do 85. I'm returning it today for this model.

I bought one of these last year and it works great. Easily pumps needed air with no problem. Unit is of a size that easily stores in compartment. Anyone needing a good air compressor this is it and the price is right. I think I gave $99 for mine. John 2006 Monaco Monarch SE

Based on the above conversations I bought the Sears 150 yesterday. Works great and I feel better knowing I can check my tires every day when on the road, knowing I can add air when needed at my convienence. Thank you all for the information.
