Cruiser RV Customer Support - MPG / Radiance Lines

Hello all,

We are looking at our first travel trailer purchase. After spending several weeks narrowing in on the Winnebago 27BHSS and/or Imagine 2800BH, we recently saw a Cruiser RV Radiance 26BH and fell in love with their take on the floor plan. Additionally, it meets our needs for cargo capacity near or above 2000 lbs.

Our only concern comes down to Cruiser RV as a company. What little info we've been able to find in the various forums was mixed at best. Worst for us, most of the negatives we saw were related to the MPG/Radiance lines. We know they were acquired by Heartland, but we've seen few posts as to if that change has improved or hurt the level of responsiveness.

We know many travel trailers have issues and are under no illusions as to likely initial quality level. Therefore, we are far more worried about the level of customer support and responsiveness of the company we choose.

Does anybody have any direct experience resolving issues with Cruiser RV in regards to their Shadow Cruiser, Fun Finder, MPG, or Radiance lines? Are we over rating the responsiveness of Grand Design and Winnebago vs. Cruiser?

Note - In addition to our reading on the various forums, we are basing our opinion on the customer support level for Grand Design and Winnebago on their extremely responsive emails as we have been researching trailers. In contrast, we cannot even find email addresses for Cruiser and/or Heartland and they have not responded to any inquiries we've made through their website forms. Even something as simple as asking if the Radiance had 1 1/2 or 2-inch side walls was met with no response after several days.

Thanks in advance!

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Sorry but I don't know anything about that company. I can understand your concerns! Hope you find the perfect TT for your needs.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Thanks!

@MSHappyCampers thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, it’s defintielh proving hard to find much info on Cruiser. At this point, I think we are biasing towards to 27BHSS by Winnie. We like the floor plan almost as well, and baring any new info are far more comfortable with W service.

We purchased our first TT in July. After weeks of searching, we narrowed down our options to the Cruiser 24BH and Grand Design's Imagine 2400BH. The lack of information on Cruiser RV and contact information made us hesitant, however after seeing both, we much preferred the layout and looks of the Radiance; further my wife preferred to have a King bed. Happy wife, happy life, right?

We've been on 4 family trips and have not had any issues. We haven't encountered any issues, and being first time RV owners, it's everything we were hoping for (though it's only been 3 months of ownership).
