Cut mattress down

Anybody have ideas on where we can get a king mattress cut down to a queen?

I would think the only place that you'll find that COULD do that would be a plant that manufacturers foam mattresses! It requires a special band saw that would be hard to find I'm afraid! And when you find one, they would be reluctant to do it because they want to sell you a new one!

You could check with the local cabinet shops to see if they have a band saw that could handle it!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

You might want to double check the mattress as well, ours is a king memory foam, but the core of it is actually a coil spring based system to keep the weight down. If its solid foam all the way through, you can take an electric carving knife and slice it down yourself. I use this for upholstery repair and making foam seat cushions. A long bread knife also works, just takes longer.

So basically any upholstery shop could cut it down for you (that's the short answer) if its truly foam all the way through.

If it is memory foam go down and buy an electric carving knife. They work very well all you need is a straight edge to guide the knife like a 1x2
Good Luck
