damage by hydralift

Has anyone had any damage done to thief rv by a hydralift unit either carrying a bike or golf cart I search and found some discussion about them and how a lot of people thought it was to much weight hang over the back but has anyone broke or bent a frame using one. I am about to buy one and don't have to have it just a convenient thing to have

None so far!
Are you talking about a gas Ford or Chev chassis, or a DP, with or without tag axle?

Any damage but I was talking about putting it on a dp I think it would be to much on a gas frame

If it has a tag axle, not a problem. Not all single-rear axle DP's can support the Hydralift due to that issue of weight and how far back from the rear axle it sits. For me, I lucked out and it works on my single-axle DP, but that's not always the case.

Have mine on my second DP...works fine. They were putting these on the backs of trailers and single rear axle coaches long before most were buying tags. Look at the web site at the pictures of coaches where installed. I have not read of bent or twisted frames and a single axle is certainly better than a 5th wheel and I've seen it installed on them as well.
