When I bought my first class A, it was a 1992 Airstream Landyacht located in Kirksville MO. They accepted a certified check from my credit union, I went to the local DMV in MO and got a transport tag to go from MO to California.

I was on my way home after spending almost two days going through the coach making sure everything worked before saying YES.

Drove the next 2000 miles in about 4 days to get her home.

Not sure if all states are like that but it was fairly painless.

Sorry for your difficulties.

Dealership Does Not Always Get You a Title Quickly

FOund a great deal on my last MH through a friend who knew a broker who knew a dealer. Deal was unbelievable, wired cash immediately. Picked the MH up 2 weeks later when I had time.

Got my transport tag, got home, waited 7 weeks for title. So for 2 months I had a beautiful lawn ornament.

Bought mine in NV. Flew down and drove back to AK. Great trip. Just frustrating waiting on title. Dealer told me it would be waiting on me when I got home. Guess it looked like a 7 week trip to him on the map.
