I think the point of this thread is the lack of choice being offered by some manufacturers. Below is a photo of our interior. While at our dealer last week we picked up a brouchur for the new Revolution. Our "washed maple" is no longer available. The lightest finish available is, at best, on the darker side of medium.

We prefer the lighter, "airy" look of the light wood. In a home the darker kitchen cabnets, as example, are an accent to the overall look of the home. In our RVs the wood chosen dominates the decor.

While I loved the rich look of the dark "mahogany" finish available when we ordered our rig, we ultimately decided it looked a bit too formal, too much like a cigar lounge or a the library in one of those Newport mansions.

Love the wood in your coach. We went to an rv show last weekend put on by camping world. The class a's all had dark wood. They were nice but even in sunshine with windows open they were very dark inside. Didn't like that. Like they say "to each his own"
