Dash cam audio & LEO stop
Many dash cams, including ours, have built it audio recorder. The question is - if stopped do I advise officer that we have dash cam with audio? Not so much a legal question as some states only require one party to consent to being recorded. So lets assume the stop is in Texas where only one party needs to agree to recording.

If I had a dash cam I would definitely record the stop!

I wouldn't say a word. The outcome of the stop shouldn't be affected by the recording. If there is a dispute later, you've got what you need.

Its your property and car......record away...don't know why though. It will be up to the court to determine if its admissible. It might be a more practical exercise if you used it to record what a tow truck driver or technician said when quoting you a price for service. Or what the other driver said when he talks to you about the minor rear ending he did to you when trying to park his car. I just find it odd the question is about law enforcement. Its almost posed as if to draw responses about what happened to this guy and how bad that contact was....

I don't think it's odd at all... Numerous times that I could have used a dashcam related to traffic behavior and a very few times where it would have been useful interacting with an officer that probably had a bad day.
Cameras on law enforcement are statistically proven to reduce complaints from the community, decrease the probability of use of force, and certainly protect good officers from invalid complaints.
I know.. if you're not doing anything wrong, it shouldn't be an issue. And most of the time it's not...

Be careful in Washington State. Washington is a 2 party consent for AUDIO but not video.

I see what your saying, so does the officer advise you when you are stopped that he/she has dash camera recording you (they wear the mic on their uniform). I would not say anything and let the court decide if an issue pops up.

If an officer is mic'ed up in Washington, he/she will normally tell you at the beginning of the contact with you.
"Hello this traffic stop is being recorded audibly and on video. The reason I stopped you today is..."

At which point you might say; "before you continue, our interaction is also being recorded audibly and on video by my equipment.."
