Just installed our great shades from Shade Man (Shade-Man Roller Shades |)... everything we could want at a terrific price. Installed on our Outlaw - driver and passenger, no more accordion night shade - we now have a sun shade and night. Time to hit the road and give the a try.

"LeeB".....I replaced all of my shades in my Diplomat with MCD day/night shades and added a power shade to the windshield. I did the work my self, so I saved quite a bit. A couple of the shades they sent didn't work and had to have them ship me new spring mechanisms. They initially acted like I was lying.

At about the same time, my sister bought the equivalent "Auto Motion" shades. They're identical to MCD units, just less expensive. Knowing what I know now, I would go with the Auto Motion units if I had to do it again.

I know the MCD style shades are expensive, but be careful you don't buy some inexpensive alternative and then wish you had spent the money for the real thing. Not only do you want to improve their operation, but updating the look is always important.

We just replaced all blinds with dual roller shades from stevesblindsandwallpaper.com. They are very well built with all steel housings, roller tubes and hem bars. They also have the slow-up mechanisms and work smooth as silk. These are specifically made for RV's. I highly recommend looking at them. We couldn't be happier. We ran quotes from Steve's and blinds chalet. Blinds chalet was slightly cheaper but Steve's matched their online quote, no questions asked. We replaced nine blinds and each and every one was made to the exact measurements we provided and have worked flawlessly.
