I'm getting the ole girl ready for a trip in April. Going North on the East Coast. My a/c units are primed and ready, the water systems have been sanitized and flushed, shes had a complete wash down and the service center gave her a good checkup. Going out for some supplies tomorrow.

But before I go, I have some plumbing I did this winter that I want to check.
Bondad, we live in Delta about 45 mi south of Grand Junction off hiway 50.
I think you will be ok de winterizing then. Especially after the beautiful winter we have been having it really has to stay freezing for a couple days and nights to freeze the pipes. We dewinterized last year around the middle of April and had no problems.. Good luck on your trip.. Oh yeah. a beautiful place to visit is Bryce Canyon Utah. They have a large rv park almost at the entrance to the park with buses stopping right in front of the rv park and they take you to all the scenic spots in the park FREE..We can get to it in a days drive, Of course being on the western slope we are a bout 300 mi closer from Denver.

Well it was 72 here today in Wisconsin. But, I'm not going to be fooled. I know Ole Man Winter isnt quite finished with having alil fun with us. I would love to be able to go get mine out of storage and put in my new HW surge protector...but it will just have to wait till April. Hopefully the S&B sell and we can leave this fall, without that on our minds. Looking to volunteer in La. for the winter. Life is about to be so much different than it is now.... house free! Living in my home, wherever I like! Yeessss!

I'm gonna start summerizing slowly so as not to tempt fate. Next week I'll take the cover off. In two weeks, I will rinse out the water lines. Then if alls good and no cold or snow, I'll start stocking it and away we go...

Everything works. I have never seen so much crap in a water heater in my life. I flushed it for 30 minutes before all the silt and residue finally stopped coming out. I could just kick the previous owners.

There's no way our motor home will be de-winterized until late April. Ma Nature can turn this warm weather into a cold, snowy spring. Not too long ago we had 4" of snow the first week in May.
