What exactly did you sign and how much did you put down? If you signed a purchase contract it's yours.

Without knowing what you did sign, no one here can give you a definitive answer. It's quite possible that you signed transfer papers, bill of sale, and purchase agreements. If so, you may have bought it. Even so, the fact that you never took delivery may give you some leverage, but you need to check with your state laws.

Here's a site that may answer your question:

I don't know what a "buyer's order" is, but it sounds like a formality that really isn't necessary to make a sale or, at least, can be done after the fact.

If you can let us know exactly what you signed, you will get a more accurate response.

Deal or no deal

Buyers order paperwork? What’s that ? Did you order a new coach ? Or are you saying The purchase contracts? What did you sign? What does what you did sign say?
Anything you did sign is what you must do.

Typically you have 72 hours to back out of any motor vehicle purchase contract although state laws may vary.

If you're worried you should call your District Attorney's consumer affairs office or your state attorney general.

If you want to get a real answer you will have to be specific and open.

If you signed anything you will have a stack of your copies. You will need to go through those and list to us what you DID SIGN.

Understand you will be opening yourself for some criticism.

But we need to know in order to help you.

This says the 72 hour thing is a myth:
