Dealer Good Sam Extended Warranty

Since it's about time to do an annual inspection I have a question or two.
When I purchased my motorhome, used, from a dealer they sold me a Good Sam Extended warranty. I've since contacted Good Sam on this topic only to find out that the warranty although Good Sam is administered through a 3rd party due to it being purchased from a dealership.
Are the requirements for each the same? By that I mean, if you don't have a record of all the systems being checked by a professional the "regular" Good Sam extended is all be null and void should a problem arise.
I contacted the 3rd party contractor and they did not seem to think that any annual systems inspection needed to be done. They only required that any service done to the engine and tranny have documentation.
Anyone have any experience with this issue? If so can you shed a little light on my situation?

ALL EXTENDED WARRANTIES are writen by lawyers and NOT your lawyer. The small print of what is covered is not as important as to what is NOT covered. If your warranty states that ALL factory maintenance must be completed on time and done by certified techs then you will need to have all documentation in your records.

I've never heard of a demand to have "factory service" done on any appliance or major component other than engine and transmission. Even from a GS policy, though my two extended warranties have been with other companies.

About the only other item I can think of that requires regular maintenance to maintain warranty(per the owner manual) is an RV fridge. They always have "required factory maintenance" for year two & three of the fridge warranty.

Well, maybe a couple chassis items too, like U-joints and the rear axle fluid.

We bought our MH from Camping World last April, and bought the GS extended service contract at the same time. There are no records of maintenance or service prior to purchase. The GS contract has paid out around $4,000 to date for repairs,parts, and labor without ever a question of liability/coverage for the costs. That same Camping World has performed all the work, the service writer handled all the calls and paperwork with the contract underwriter. Our out-of-pocket costs_ $50 deductible.
