Dealer reviews

Mornin,

I am about to buy from La Mesa out of Florida. Where can I find any reviews on this company. We have several RV Dealers and it would be nice to see if there are any info on how they do business and treat their customers. Thanks.

I would rate the service at La Mesa in San Diego poor to fair. Little to no communication, slow to fix, don't know how to talk to a third party warranty, low technical knowledge level on brands they sell. Unfortunately, they are probably about average overall, for a dealer... One can usually find an independent shop that does much better. Dealer used only for warranty work. This is one of the reasons I prefer to buy used from a private party.

I purchased my Fleetwood Excursion from LaMesa, Sacramento. I got a middle to fair deal on the purchase. Their Service Department is somewhere between bad and poor, although, I do like the Service Advisor as she appears friendly and helpful. JH

Dealer reviews

Purchased our Bounder diesel from LaMesa Sacramento. Paid way too much for it as they too advantage of a newbie. My bad I guess. Sold me insurance for the 'wheels' as 'they would be 'expensive to replace'. And then wheels ended up as standard steel wheels with wheel covers😝. I could have sworn they were Alcoa aluminum when I looked at the coach, but who knows. My bad again, rape the uninitiated. Used coach but they actually took fairly good care of me service wise. Duh, here he comes again.
Coach has served us well though with just what I consider minor problems for 7 years (full time) and wife still likes it so all is good. A little poorer .but good. If I had just known then what I know now!!!!

Bought my Itasca from Port Saint Lucie location. 1st 6 months they had it more than I did.
Their service is the same as most - too much wait time trying to get Winnebago to approve repair. They have a manager in Cal. that will ensure you are satisfied with their products and service.
