Dear North Carolina Campgrounds:

I don't care how much you try to "dress up" your websites and facilities... You will STILL offer less than the rest of the country does!

Now, put THAT in your pipe and smoke it!

We've only stayed at two NC campgrounds, Each time overnight only and one we use twice a year. So far they have been great for our purposes. Remember NC is at least 3 distinct regions: coastal, mountain and in-be-tween so which part got your nose out of joint?

That was painted with a broad brush. I've spent some time in NC and would have to say I don't agree.

Sometimes I'll post something and then when I wake up the next morning I'm wondering "What the hell was I thinking?"

Gosh, I know there are some CG's that are undesireable, but I have stayed in so many that were really nice. I hope the folks reading this don't believe the OP's statement. They would be missing a great camping experience.

X2 on Floor It's comments. Stayed there 2 days back in May to visit wife's old and longtime friend. Found the Greystone RV park to be a little off the beaten path but very clean and the owners to be extremely friendly and trying to be helpful in every way. There is no doubt that if we were to head that direction again a stay there would definitely be in order. Maybe the original poster hasn't had time to try all the rv parks in NC.
Good luck and safe travels!
