I must say that my Fantastic Fans have help up better than my Atwood levelers. I've had zero problems with the fans (3). I've lost count of the jack failures. Maybe we'll get the jack issue straightened out before to many more months go by.

7 Year Warranty I was told

We purchased a 2002 American Eagle and had a lift motor go out on one of the three Fantastic Vent Fans so I called to see about a replacement part and they said that since it is over 7 years old that it would cost us $35 for the part plus $12.95 shipping. Definitely not like the old days! Going back to the peanut gallery to enjoy the show.

I was at FMCA Madson and visited the Atwood booth to discuss a noisy almost new Fantastic Fan. They made me an appointment a tech came to my coach, confirmed the problem and replaced the fan motor on the spot, all at no charge. So I had a good experience with them. I have had their products on all 3 of my RVs I have owned and have been happy with all of them. The newest one I installed, a fancy $ 250 one with the Thermostat IR Remote, power lid with rain sensor, and 10 speed reversible fan was the only one that had a noisy motor, and the tech said they had gotten a few bad motor/fan assemblies that they were replacing if customers complained.

I'm glad that you guys got your parts replaced with ony shipping, when I called them last year, it was $80+ for the vent cover plus $27 shipping to Ohio. Needless to say I told them to keep it, I got one for around $30 from a guy here at the park that is a tech at one of the RV dealers here in Fl.

Is this day with corporate business plans totally focused on how much profit they can squeeze out of the consumer without any or very little customer service Atwood is one of the few that I personally have received good service. Like another post stated, unlike HWH or Power Gear, Atwood will talk to you via the telephone and provide "free" technical advice. IMO it pays dividends for the RV community to purchase products from a company with this business ethic.
