Those are exactly the type of people you meet when you are USING an RV. By using an RV the developer can sample other successful RV parks and see what works and what doesn't. He can talk to the owners/managers of the other parks and get their input. How else are they going to learn this stuff? Relying on someone else's advice? That only goes so far and is subject to other people's biases. The best way is to experience it first hand.

I tried it. All units offered were 10 years old or older gas. That is my area. Now if I lived in a popular wintering spot I might have better luck.

yes. I purchased an RV park by Yosemite in 2001. after MUCH investigation and talking to numerous contractors I went to KOA in Montana and discussed what I wanted. they help me design the park, develop blueprints, sent someone to meet with me and helped direct and guide me with the permitting process. best decision I ever made. ran a successful KOA campground for about 10 years.
