Did you give up on full-timing

You see a lot of people on here talk about going full timing but you don't see many that talks about there tired of it and calling it quits.
Did you stop full timing and come off the road, what made you decide?

I full timed for 4 years, but health issues forced me off the road and back into a house.

However, no regrets and I got to live my dream.

Did you still have a home to go back to or did you have to start all over.

As long as our health is good and we still enjoy this life style we will keep full timing. However we know that at some point we will probably need to go back to a house of some kind. The money from the sale of our house is just waiting for that new phase of our life.

We have FT -RVed twice and in each instance our tolerance and endurance for living in an RV and the magic of the lifestyle wears-off in just under 36mo. Lots of great memories, but also very happy to be pursuing other interests in the comfort of fishing off the porch!

What part of the country did you end up hanging up your hat?

We live in Sooke .....which is about 30min. outside downtown Victoria on Vancouver Island (British Columbia) & on the Pacific Ocean .....which keeps our winters snow free and for the most part our winter temps. above freezing. We started our last FT-RV adventure from our home in Cabo San Lucas (MX) .....so the RV was the perfect way to move back to Canada and allow us the opportunity to decide the best place to drop anchor! BTW....it was an RV which took us to Mexico in the first place....so we owe a considerable debt to the RV lifestyle in helping us to move from one adventure to another.

I had no exit plan as I intended to fulltime indefinitely.

I had to buy a house and furnish it.

Thanks Jack. We live in Mexico now and are considering going full time but staying Southern US for winters as the North is too cold for us.

We are 1 year on the road this week. No regrets, no plans to stop at this time. You never know what the future will bring.

You didn't say what your status is or plans are. You must be asking for a reason. So what's up???
