Did you say “Thanks”?

I can’t count the number of forums I have abandoned as posts become cynical and negative, filled with negative feedback. iVR2.com one of only few that offer a simple “Thanks” feature to show appreciation

Are you familiar with the “Thanks” feature and do you use it?

Below each post are a group of four buttons including “Quote”, “Multi+”, “Quick” and “Thanks”. By pressing the “Thanks” button a private message is sent to the poster letting them know that you appreciated the time, effort and content they provided. If you like, you can also add an additional personal comment.

The next time you read a post that provides the information you are seeking, or in some other way deserves recognition, remember to press that “Thanks” button.

Maybe I just don't see it. Are the functions available on the app? Like a lot of people now, we only use tablets or our phones.

I had never noticed the button was there!

The app has some limitations and this is one of them. I use the app almost exclusively but switch over to Safari for certain tasks such as this one.

Have used it to send a "thanks" and have received some too. Every once in a while a thread needs a special "thank you" so I send a PM to those.

Thanks for the post!

There may be lots of things members haven't noticed or know about. The FAQ tab is one place for general forum operations.

Also, check in on the Forums 101 thread for all sorts of tips specific to iRV2.

The real key is to actually give a Thank You.
I mostly say thanks in a reply post.
My hope is that when others see "Thanks" given, they will feel inclined to do the say.

Button or post, a Thank You should not be forgotten.

And Thank You for starting this thread....

Regards,

Dan
