Cool Didn't Start

We are heading out to Lancaster this weekend. I needed to move the MH a few feet to put the receiver carrier on for firewood. Got in and it wouldn't start. It would start then just die, no matter what I did I could not keep it running. It seemed like a fuel issue. After 10 minuets I remembered that a few days ago I checked the air filter to see if it needed to be replaced. So I opened the front to have a look and sure enough the hose from the top of the filter housing to the engine was not securely on and letting in way too much air. I reattached it climbed back in and she started right up.

Good catch. I always try to think of what I touched last.

Yup, troubleshooting 101. Investigate What was recently changed or touched. Glad you found the problem and thanks for sharing.

Why would that fail the engine?

Maybe flow sensor or ???

Maybe follow up question to mechanic next time one is handy.
