Down to $2.95 here in Battle Creek, Mi area. Still high compared to others, but since my coach is in storage, guess is doesn't affect me.

Diesel price near you?

After a sixty cent per gallon discount at the Safeway in Camas, WA (we bought a lot of groceries in January), this is what I paid last night!Click image for larger version

I never thought I'd see diesel under $2/gal again!! But, without the discount, it's $2.579/gal. The Shell down the street was $2.499/gal.

I use "gasbuddy.com" . Shows pricing in all states or by zip code. Very useful. When traveling from NY to FL, I watch for the lowest $ by states.

I saw $2.32 at a Shell in Clearlake, TX a few days ago. Today I saw $2.37 today at Costco in Woodlands, TX.

But the secretary general of OPEC just told a London newspaper that oil has officially bottomed and that he forsees a spike $200/bbl in the near future.

Last week I paid 2.19.9/gal, but I see prices going up around me. If the refinery workers go on strike all bets are off on the price staying low.

I've been using that app the last 2 years. Love it.
