Different day night shade

I can't find a answer to my problem in other postings so I need help.
Cord broke in a day night shade. I have repaired 2 cord shades with no problem. The shade I need to repair now is a 3 cord shade. I say 3 cord but what it has is 3 rows of holes for the cord but the middle holes have 2 cords in it. I haven't dis-assembled the shade yet. I need a diagram for how to re-string this shade.

Try google, that where I got my diagram for my shades when re-stringing them.

The information is out there, all you have to do is let it in.

These are instructions Jo Ann wrote several years ago for our old SWC Shades. Brand name can usually be found somewhere on the bottom rail. I have no idea if this will help you or not.

We eventually got tired of the restringing chore and replaced all the day-nights with MCD Shades.

Thanks for the reply. My shades are not cord locks. I will keep looking.

If completely at a loss you could take it to a window covering store and have them do it. Also, on our shades the manufacturer put a decal on the very bottom part of the shade. We've know some who have put the shade in a tube and mailed it in for repair. Good luck!

mine is 4 cord shade, i assume 3 cord's would be similar or easier. basically on the mid bar, the cord goes to the "other side". once you take it down, it's easy to see and you won't miss it.
i fixed mine a few times. one thing i learned - do not make the cords very tight, loose them up to make your lifting or dropping the shade much easier, and less worn.

I helped a friend restring a shade on a Tiffin motor home and discovered that the last person to string it did it wrong. I found a diagram on the internet and it worked great. You might get a diagram from the RV manufacturer.

Thanks to all who replied. The shade is repaired. It took from 10:30AM to 3 PM but it's done. I had to do some repairs to the screw for the cord hold down as it was very loose.
I still dint find a diagram for threading the way my shade was done but did did find a 3 cord diagram that works.
Tech at the local RV repair shop said the frustration factor for a re-thread was...a 12 pack.
Again...Thank you all.
