I was just reading of a Radio Station (I think, might have been TV) that cooked dinner in a special solar oven.... They simply put the food in their car and parked in full sun.

Folks.. Think about your fur (And non-fur) Kids under those conditions.

I have left my fur kids in the car but in the shade,, With power ventelation, and water and regular checks.. Car was still comfortable when I returned to it (Which was often).

Solar ovens are used a lot in the Southwest - especially boondocking in the desert. They work very well - even for desserts.
