Dirty RV?
Our 2006 Navion has black smudge-like marks on the sides. I'm trying to remove them before waxing, but nothing I've tried works. Maybe it's not cleanable? Could they be rubbed out? Forget waxing?

I know this may sound a little crazy, but have you tried the Magic Eraser? I have used one of remove stubborn spots in the past. The other thing I have used was some rubbing compound.

Try Gel Gloss. It's both a cleaner and a wax. Bugs, Black streaks, grim....Never a problem.

Since you are going to be waxing the coach after removing the black streaks try some Xtreme Clean.
After you get the black streaks removed apply a coat of Rejex to the coach.
You can buy both of these products online.

If they are the common black streaks, try lysol basin, tub and tile cleaner with a mr clean magic eraser sponge. You will wipe them away instead of scrubbing.

I use collinite fleetwax. After a basic wash fleetwax has a bit of a compound action to it and it removes black streaks as well as rust stains and light scratches. it's pricy (I pay about $65 per half gallon liquid- the paste is great too just use a damp rag to apply) but unmatched for speed and effectiveness. For max shine and longevity follow up the next day with a coat of collinite insulator wax.

Just as an adder I use Meguiar's Flagship Premium Cleaner Wax on my MH a couple of times a years. The sixteen year old MH still has a nice shine to it.
