We live in Kroger Grocery land and about once every couple of months Kroger sells their "gift" cards with 4 times the fuel points promotion. If you buy fuel at Kroger or their related gas stations, you can use your purchases to accumulate "fuel points": 1 point per $10 spent at Kroger (with a few exceptions). When they have one of these 4 X fuel points for food type gift cards it means a $25 card to use at the "burger Place" = 100 points = $.10/gal discount. We often use the cards on days when the restaurant has "senior meals" specials deals so that we maximize the value.
Just another Geezer trick.

For fuel we use the Good Sam card at Flying J for $.03 off fuel and then use the Costco Am Express card to get 3% off the purchase.
Everything else we use our Credit Union credit card and get various points we redeem for cash.

Good Sam for Pilot/Flying J. Something some folks don't know is KOA offers Military Discount the same as if you have the KOA card. Other then acquiring points you still get the same discount.

Passport America and Price Choppers AdvantEdge. We get great gas discounts using the Price Choppers card on 20 gallons from Sunoco. Might not be much for a motorhome, but one month we got over $1/gallon in discount.

Kroger and CVS are my two most used discount cards. Food and meds are a big outlay for us, so it is nice to get something back. Just filled up for $1.53 per gallon thanks to my Kroger card.

For fuel I use the Good Sam card at Flying J for $.03 off fuel and then use the Bank of America Visa card to get 3% off the purchase. Or the months Discover gives 5% off.
Campgrounds Passport America and Good Sam
Grocery's Bank of America Visa for 2% off.
