On there pay as you go I payed for 30 day they did not tell me I had to call to cancel it. got bill for four more months. I was told you payed for a month and when the month ran out it was shut off and you just called again when you wanted to have it again have any body dealt with this

Not my understanding. You turn it on when you want it and turn it off when you don't. If you do not notify them to suspend service they assume you wish to continue the service.

My understanding is you turn it on for a month and if you don't pay for another month it gets turned off. At least that's the way it was when I last used Dish. You need to call customer service RV Division and explain you are on the RV pay as you go program.

If you have not provided a credit card number and setup autopay, just don't pay the invoice and service stops. If you provided a credit card number and have signed up for autopay, they will automatically pay the invoice - you must call to suspend service.

I did not sign up for auto pay when I went to pay for another month later they told me I owed all this money

Need to talk to a supervison, you probably will get some relief from that person.
When you were 'told' about how it operates, did you get anything in writing?

I had pay as you go for a few months and I remember calling to turn it on AND off. Not sure if that was required, but I didn't' like to "assume" when my money was involved.

They will always error on the side where they make money. I switched to a normal dish account for the house and now it is always on in the RV for $7/month as just an additional receiver.
