A police friend of mine told me once; if you have to shoot someone, and if they are outside your camper, drag them in then make sure they are dead, otherwise most likley they will sue you and win.

As a police officer told me: "We will protect you as soon as we get there." In other words, you are on your own until then.
Have I a gun, knife, bat, WD40 can with a straw dispensor? Hair spray and match? Hot coffee or propane torch? Not saying and none of which is considered illegal if not displayed aggresively.

Really, really poor advice. If you shoot after he is down and out of the fight, it is murder. I worked as a forensics supervisor for years and as a LEO for 27. Even the greenest rookie can tell when a body has been moved. Believeing this kind of statement can gey someone major prison time.

I agree with Doc. Don't make things any worse. It'll be bad enough without moving things around.

I also have the Kel-Tec 380 Auto and it is a great little weapon. It seems to be accurate enough for self defense work up to the first stop at the range (7 yards). I also have the extra clip with the rubber extension for your pinky finger. It will fit right in your pocket.

The Monaco coach is R HOME and the Pace cargo trailer is R JUNK.
Inside those two vehicles, we have all of our worldly possessions which is everything we own.
I'll let you determine whether I have any and what they are.

Are tazers legal? How up close and personal does the intruder need to be?

another "vote" for the kel-tec .380. nice pocket gun. the para ordinance p12-45 is better, but my pockets arent that big.

I bought mine from a cop who had carried it in a holster on his ankle. Fits right into my back or front pocket although I haven't done that in a long time.

I won't say whether I carry or not, just keep 'em guessing.

Using your cell phone to call only works if you have cell phone service.

I was raised in rural Il and hunted with my Dad until we moved to the Left Coast many years ago. Two notable things he instilled in me were first, never, never shoot anything you wouldn't eat, and we ate well in the forties and fifties. (Self defense was never a question) Second, "guns are loaded, knives are sharp and neither one is worth a $&%# unless they are. Now the guns part was directed toward the handling of weapons inside the house and since he trained as a Butcher when he was a Teenager, you can guess about his knives.
It will take anyone a long time to uncover ours in the MH.
